Prantika Das is one of the top three contestants of Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti. If all goes well, the Bengali girl has every chance to defeat Akanksha Puri and Neet Mahal and tie the knot with Punjabi singer Mika Singh. She has won Mika’s heart from the very beginning of the show. Now, after reaching the top three, Pratika is really hoping to become Mika’s ‘vohti’.

In an interview with Anandabazar, she said she will win Mika’s heart with love. “Many people say that I am infatuated. But I qualified in the top three because I am a deserving candidate. I will win his heart with the love that I harbour for him. Our chemistry is very different. I will become his vohti,” she said.

While explaining her chemistry with Mika, Prantika said, “Mikaji becomes like a child. He is not so comfortable with the other contestants. I won the chemistry round also. He sang Khowab Ho Tum Ya Koi Hakikat and proposed to me. He called me ‘mishti rosogolla’. That’s why the rest of the contestants are jealous of me.”

Talking about the other two contestants, Prantilka said, “Akanksha is a complex character and Neet doesn’t know anything about Mikaji. I have a real chance to become his vohti.”

Prantika also revealed that there has been a lot of criticism for the age gap between them and their different culture. “Many people said that it is because of my greed for money and to establish my life that I am after Mikaji. In fact, a lot of people asked Mikaji why he is after a Bengali girl, instead of Punjabi girls. He reacted sharply,” she said. She also said that the channel approached her to participate. “Many people are aware of the fact that I like Mikaji. I took my mother’s permission and finally participated,” she said.
