The film is Ramya's maiden production venture and interestingly, she was initially slated to play the role of Prerana in the film but eventually chose to give it up after deeming that Siri Ravikumar fit the bill better.
Raj B. Shetty has been quite tight-lipped about his upcoming directorial Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye a film he also stars in as the male lead. The film, from the looks of it, is unlike his previous two ventures but much like Ondu Motteya Kathe and Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana, Raj has managed to wrap up the shoot of his third directorial with little fuss. Having already unveiled the central characters of the film, team Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye has released the first poster of the film featuring both Raj B. Shetty as Aniketh and Siri Ravikumar as Prerana.
"Ending the year on a sweet note. Here’s the first poster of our maiden production Swathi Muthina Male Haniye starring Raj B. Shetty and Siri Ravikumar," read the social media post of actress Ramya's home banner Applebox Studios, which serves as the co-producer of the project along with Lighter Buddha Films.
The film is Ramya's maiden production venture and interestingly, she was initially slated to play the role of Prerana in the film but eventually chose to give it up after deeming that Siri Ravikumar fit the bill better. Instead, Ramya announced soon after that her comeback film would be Rohit Padaki's gangster saga Uttarakaanda wherein she is paired with Daali Dhananjaya.
As far as Swathi Mutthina Haniye is concerned, Raj Shetty also serves as the film's screenwriter and he has united with his previous collaborators of music composer Mithun Mukundan and cinematographer/editor Praveen Shriyan. The film's storyline, in particular, has been kept under wraps but it is certain that there is something intriguing in store - Raj, unlike his previous few onscreen avatars sports a more sombre look in Swathi Mutthina Haniye with his beanie and a woollen muffler. On the other hand, Siri Ravikumar as Prerana boasts a certain kind of timeless elegance through her wardrobe which comprises muted-coloured sarees and printed blouses.
