Swag OTT platform details

The makers left no stone unturned to make this film a hit, and the trailers created solid hype. Swag hit the screens on October 4, 2024 but ended as a disappointment. Sree Vishnu was praised for his strong performance, but the film did not fare well at the box office and was pulled from theaters within just a week of its release.

We, at OTTplay, had revealed that Swag's digital rights were acquired by Amazon Prime Video for a substantial price. Surprisingly, Swag has been made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, starting October 25, 2024. This means Swag is out on OTT within just three weeks of its release.

Swag had a great storyline but was narrated in a very confusing manner by the director. The film is about various characters vying to own their dynasty's treasure. The basic story revolves around who is the actual heir and who is the thief.

The film has many layers, but its screenplay disappointed audiences. Those who watched it had a unanimous complaint that they did not understand much of the story. Now that the film is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, it will be interesting to see how Swag fares on OTT.

Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory bankrolled the film, which ended in losses due to its poor performance. For this reason, he struck a deal with Amazon Prime Video for an early release of Swag to recoup some of the investment. Stay tuned for more updates.
