Pushkar and Gayatri's Suzhal-The Vortex began streaming at midnight on Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video's Suzhal-The Vortex, created by the popular director duo, Pushkar and Gayatri, is finally streaming on the OTT giant. The series, directed by Bramma and Anucharan M, stars an ensemble cast including Sriya Reddy, Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh and Radhakrishnan Parthiban. The series boasts audio and subtitles in over 30 languages like Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, English along with foreign languages like French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Latin Spanish, Arabic, Turkish and Japanese amongst others. Interestingly, this is the first time that Pushkar and Gayatri are venturing into the streaming space with the long-format series.

Taking to their social media handle, just before the release, Pushkar and Gayatri wrote, "Finally, it's live! #Suzhal the story we have carried with us for the past few years is now yours! Watch it on @PrimeVideoIN #Suzhal #SuzhalTheVortex @wallwatcherfilm @am_kathir @aishu_dil @sriyareddy @rparthiepan @bramma23 @AnucharanM #NoSpoilersPlease (sic)."

Before the release, one of the lead actors of the series, Kathir, too dropped a video message in which he stated, " This is the first Tamil web series to go worldwide. I am extremely proud and happy about the same. I am eagerly awaiting the audience's reaction to the series. He also asked the public to avoid any spoilers."

The trailer of the series had already crossed 50 million plus views globally within just two days of the launch. It garnered massive love and appreciation not only from viewers, but film fraternity and critics from all across the country.
