Ravanasura, the 70th film in the career of Ravi Teja, is directed by Sudheer Varma
Sushanth, who has witnessed a resurgence in his career after Alaa Vaikunthapurramulo and was seen in Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu recently, has signed a new project. He has officially come on board for Ravi Teja's next, Ravanasura, to be helmed by director Sudheer Varma. The film, whose story is written by Srikanth Vissa, is produced by Abhishek Nama under Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks.
The casting of Sushanth in the film has definitely come as a surprise, given there were no hints about his presence in the recent announcement about the project. Reportedly, the actor has taken a liking to the script and his character. He'll be playing the role of Ram in the film and the makers opine that his presence will turn out to be a 'big bonus'.
The makers have also revealed Sushanth's first look from Ravanasura, where he's seen with blue eyes, sporting a long hair and beard. Although he gives an intense expression in the first look, there's a smile on his face that he can't hide. The fact that the film comes with a caption that heroes don't exist, one can certainly expect multiple dimensions to his character.
Ravanasura is the 70th film for Ravi Teja, where he's cast in the role of a lawyer. The film's shoot will formally commence on the Sankranthi festival day - January 14 - at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The principal shoot is set to commence later this month. Sudheer Varma promises to give a stylish makeover to Ravi Teja in the film that's touted to be an action thriller. Other cast and crew of Ravanasura will be announced shortly.
