Suriya42 directed by Siruthai Siva begins with a pooja

The muhurat puja of Suriya's upcoming film, which is tentatively being referred to as Suriya42, began with a pooja today. The film, is written by Siruthai Siva and Aadhi Narayana and is helmed by the former. Interestingly, this is the first time that Suriya and Siva are teaming up for a film. The puja was held at the Agaram foundation office in Ramapuram, Chennai. Mahat was also present at the puja, and it is said that he will play a crucial role in the film.

Bollywood actres Disha Patani is likely to play the leading lady in Suriya42. If she does, Suriya42 will mark her debut in Tamil. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film. While the cinematography is by Vetri, editing is by Richard Kevin. The action choreography is by Supreme Sundar Milan, will he in charge of the art direction. The extensive shoot will begin in Goa and we hear that the team will be erecting a huge set for the same.

Suriya also has in hands Bala's Vanangaan and Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal. Vanangaan is said to be rustic film, which will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual ( Achaludu in Telugu). Suriya and Bala are teaming up after a gap of many years and fans are really excited about the same. Though there was a rumour in between that there were creative differences between the director and actor and that the actor had walked out of the project, Suriya later dismissed the buzz as a rumour after he shared a picture from the set.

In the meantime, Suriya is also prepping for Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal. The actor is said to play a bull tamer in the film, which will revolve around the traditional rural sport Jallikattu. Suriya has even but two bulls and is raising them to get into the skin of the character. A test shoot was earlier done in ECR and the look had gone viral on social media.
