It's been more than a year since Suriya has appeared on the big screen and fans have been patiently waiting for an update on his forthcoming movie Kanguva. The big-budget project which has Siva at its helm was announced to be released in multiple languages. The period flick is riding on high expectations despite makers not revealing any major updates.
After a long wait, fans are now elated that the makers have come up with an announcement on the film. They have teased fans with a poster that is supposed to be that of the character played by Suriya.
It features a beefed-up arm that has tattoos, beads and a small weapon tied to it. The unknown person is also seen wielding a sword in his right hand. The poster comes along with the tagline 'The Man, The Wild, The Story'.
The unexpected treat has sent fans of the star into a tizzy and the icing on the cake is that a glimpse video of the film will be unveiled on July 23, on Suriya's birthday. The actor essays the role of a king in this fantasy action drama that is set in a different time period.
The project was in the news some time ago when the team was shooting for a few crucial episodes in Kodaikanal. With the makers having wrapped up major portions, it is likely that they come up with regular surprises to keep the audience excited.
