Suriya 45: Suriya, RJ Balaji, and others welcomed Trisha onboard, as they celebrated by cutting a cake.
The makers of Suriya 45 made it official! Yes, the rumors are true. Actors Suriya and Trisha will be joining hands after a long time with the upcoming film helmed by actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji. It is special for Trisha for more than one reason, given how she joined the sets of Suriya 45 as she completed 22 years in the industry as an actor. Interestingly, it was with Suriya's Mounam Pesiyadhe, Trisha's acting debut film.
The team of Suriya 45 cut a cake to welcome Trisha onboard, as well as celebrate the actor's 22 years in the industry. Suriya and Trisha were present, as director RJ Balaji mentions how Trisha started her journey with Suriya in Mounam Pesiyadhe. Trisha is seen saying that it has come to “one full circle”, and that it is “honour” to work with him again.

Suriya 45 is backed by Dream Warrior Pictures and is written and directed by RJ Balaji. The film has music by Sai Abhyakkar who replaced AR Rahman, with GK Vishnu cranking the camera. In the film, Suriya is expected to play a lawyer. A release date for the film is yet to be announced. The production is underway in Pollachi.
Trisha’s maiden lead role was in the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe. The film is available for streaming on Aha Tamil and the OTTplay Premium app. If you are a fan of romantic dramas, then this could be on your weekend watch list.

A romantic drama directed by Ameer in his debut, the film features Trisha, Suriya, Nandha, and others. The film revolves around a restaurant owner who falls in love with a girl his friend has decided to marry. Mounam Pesiyadhe became a success upon its release and was remade in Telugu as Aadanthe Ado Type.
