The world has been waiting for the new dawn of DCU to begin for close to two years now ever since James Gunn and Peter Safran took the boss chairs at the Warner Bros wing pretty dramatically. The drama faded in a while and the makers were at work to churn out a new era of movies with the revamped DCU and the first movie that they chose and James got on to write and direct was Superman (earlier titled Superman: Legacy). As David Corenswet joined the movie as Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan was his Lois, the excitement increased. So far we have seen a few BTS stills and a couple of official stills, but this week Gunn confirmed that the trailer will drop on Thursday. Today is Thursday and we cannot wait for the first teaser trailer of the film.

It was confirmed that the trailer will be released on YouTube at 6:00 am PT. But what does that mean for India? Well, we are here to decode that for you. The Indian audience who are eager to catch the trailer do the first DCU James Gunn directorial, you should Look Up at 7:30 pm IST today. Yes, you read that right. The teaser trailer of Superman will hit the Indian shores late evening today.

The only thing that is confirmed about Superman is that the movie will not be serving as another origin story for Clark Kent. The movie finds a young Clark Kent (aka Kal-El) and shows how he is trying to balance his Kryptonian heritage and normal life as an up-and-coming reporter at The Daily Planet. He lives in Smallville, Kansas with his adoptive family. The film will have Lex Luthor as the villain played by Nicholas Hoult who has a very major presence as per James Gunn.
The initial logline for the movie revealed, Superman, a cub reporter in Metropolis, embarks on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent. Superman is set to hit the big screen on July 11, 2025. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more information on this and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
