There were rumours of a rift between actors Lukman and Sunny Wayne in October of last year after a video of their violent altercation went viral on social media. But as many had predicted, the video proved to be a smart publicity gimmick for this film, Turkish Tharkam.
A crew member of the movie shared the footage, which featured the two actors yelling at each other and punching each other while other workers attempted to stop them. The media and viewers were drawn in by the video and became curious about it very quickly. Everyone was left waiting, though, as neither actor addressed the incident.
After his 2023 movie Vela, Sunny Wayne has not played a lead role in a film for a while. He played a major character in the first Malayalam web series on Disney+ Hotstar this year, Perilloor Premier League.
Lukman Avaran’s latest film, Anchakkallakokkan, is getting good reviews from audiences, despite not being able to garner much attention due to the popularity of other Malayalam films. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in Kundannoorile Kulsitha Lahala.
