Sunny Deol's Juhu bungalow spared auction as bank pulls notice, cites 'technical reasons'

The Gadar 2 star owes a huge sum of over Rs 55.99 crore to the bank.

Gadar 2 star Sunny Deol has recently been in the headlines a lot. Apart from his blockbuster film, Bollywood actors have also been gathering attention due to his upscale Juhu Bungalow, which was about to be auctioned by the bank over Rs 55.99 crore non-payment. However, with the recent turn of events, the authorities have withdrawn their notice of auctioning Deol's posh Mumbai villa, claiming the reason to be technical issues.

According to an earlier report Deol, who is the borrower and guarantor, owes Rs. 55,99,80,766.33 to the bank. However, he has not been able to repay the borrowed loan on time, which resulted in the auction of his property. Meanwhile, recent reports allege that the e-auction notice of Gadar 2 star's posh Mumbai villa has now been withdrawn by the bank.

According to the latest report on ETimes, a spokesperson on behalf of Deol issued an official statement and confirmed that the virtual auction of the actor's Bungalow is not taking place anytime soon. On the other hand, the issue is set to be resolved soon, which will make sure that the actor's posh Mumbai Villa doesn't need to be auctioned at all.

On the other hand, Gadar 2 is witnessing fantastic highs at the box office and garnering immense praise from the cinephiles. The Anil Sharma directorial also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in pivotal roles.

The period action-drama will release on ZEE5 post the theatrical run.
