According to reports, Nitesh Tiwari is working on a spin-off centered around the character of Hanuman in addition to considering Sunny Deol for his Ramayana adaptation.
Sunny Deol, according to the reports, is in talks to play Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana adaptation. Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana are the current cast members of the trilogy.
Hanuman stands for strength and there's no one better than Sunny Deol in the Indian film industry to justify what Bajrangbali stands for, revealed Pinkvilla through a source. The actor is eager to portray Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's adaptation of the Ramayana and has expressed interest in participating. But the conversation is still in its early phases, the report added.
Now, a recent report by Bollywood Hungama states that Sunny Deol is negotiating a Rs. 45 crore contract with the Ramayana crew. Being on-screen Lord Hanuman is a huge responsibility, hence Sunny has made the decision to not take on any new projects while the Ramayana is filming. In order to play Lord Hanuman, he plans to dedicate all of his attention to the role and modify his physical appearance.

About Ramayana
Ramayana Trilogy will be filmed over the course of two years, beginning in February 2024, and will be shown on enormous screens periodically. According to the reports, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is said to be a simple narrative and human interaction despite its elaborate visuals and grand scale.
With Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Raavan, Ramayana is hailed as Nitesh Tiwari's dream project. After the enormous success of Gadar 2, if Sunny Deol plays Hanuman in the film, the cast will only get bigger and better.
Meanwhile, Sunny will next be seen in Aamir Khan's production film which is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
