Sunflower teaser: Sunil Grover’s murder mystery promises plenty of laughs too

Laced with dark humour, the series will premiere on ZEE5 on June 11

ZEE5 has released an engrossing teaser of the web series Sunflower, which is laced with dark humour and is sure to pique the curiosity of the audience when it premieres on June 11.

The teaser starts off by introducing the main actors of the show including Sunil Grover, Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Ashish Vidyarthi and Mukul Chadda. Sunil’s character, who seems to be working in an MNC, is seen asking a silly question to Ashish, while police officers can be seen rigorously probing a murder case at a middle-class housing society named Sunflower.

Written and co-directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta, the show’s quirky characters and their relatable stories offer thrill, comedy as well as drama. Also featuring Radha Bhatt, Ashish Kaushal, Shonali Nagrani and Saloni Khanna, Sunflower promises to take you on a roller-coaster ride.

ZEE5 released the teaser video on Twitter with a caption, “Khabaron ke mutabik, Sunflower mein hua hai ek murder, ab hungama hoga ghar ghar. Stay tuned Sunflower premieres on 11th June only on #ZEE5.”
