Other members of the cast and crew are yet to be announced. The project, which is yet to get a title, is all set to go on floors from January 2025. In a statement, GKM Tamil Kumaran of Lyca Productions said, “Our production house has always strived to encourage good storytellers, and when Jason Sanjay presented the narrative, we felt something fresh and most importantly, it had the USP of drawing Pan-Indian attention.”
As per Tamil Kumaran, the project’s basic gist revolves around the theme of “searching for what you've lost in its original place—but at what cost?” The makers have remained tight-lipped about the genre and other details.
While we wait for further details about the project, Lyca Productions is also gearing up for the release of Vidaamuyarchi starring Ajith Kumar. The Magizh Thirumeni directorial will hit the big screens for Pongal 2025.
