In times when it’s getting increasingly difficult to draw audiences to theatres, the hype of the pre-release event has turned out to be a crucial marketing tool for producers. Although it’s turning out be a ‘mutual admiration’ exercise on stage week after week, makers are struggling to find innovative strategies to grab eyeballs.

Team Ante Sundaraniki will get a major boost ahead of the film’s release with Pawan Kalyan agreeing to attend the film’s pre-release event to be held on Thursday on June 9. Reportedly, it was an instant yes from the star when the producers requested him to grace the event. The Nani-Nazriya starrer is set to hit theatres later this Friday.

Of course, one must also remember that Pawan Kalyan is due to join the shoot of his next with Harish Shankar, Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh, produced by Ante Sundaraniki makers, Mythri Movie Makers, shortly. Pawan Kalyan is cast as a lecturer in the film that’ll be a commercial feast for fans and will also have a social message, reports suggest.

Meanwhile, there was an additional enthusiasm in the last leg of the film’s promotions owing to the promo song, Thandanaanandha, released yesterday. The Shankar Mahadevan, Shweta Mohan number was undoubtedly the best in the album - the lead actors said that the song was conceptualised for the audiences to experience the peppy vibe of the film.

Written and directed by Vivek Athreya, Ante Sundaraniki has cinematography by Niketh Bommi and music by Vivek Sagar. The film also stars Naresh, Rohini, Nadhiya, Harshavardhan and Rahul Ramakrishna, to name a few.
