The shooting of Domin DSilva's Regina, which stars Sunainaa in the lead, had gone on floors a while ago. The makers have now announced that its production has been wrapped up. The team had unveiled its first look poster sometime ago which featured Sunainaa pointing a gun towards someone.

This is the first time the actress is headlining a movie. Bankrolled by Sathish Nair of Yellow Bear Production, the film was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. The project's story is said to revolve around a housewife who comes up with various ways to take revenge against a bunch of criminals who harmed her in the past. Nivas, Bava Chelladurai and Ananth Nag are others who essay prominent characters in the film.

Producer Sathish himself has turned music director of the film while Pavi K Pavan has cranked the camera. Toby John has handled editing and Sinoy Joseph is in charge of sound designing for the movie. Vivek Velmurugan, Yugabharathi, Vijayan Vincent and Ijaz have written lyrics for songs in Regina. The makers are yet to announce about the film's release plans.

Sunainaa who is playing the female lead in Vishal-starrer Laththi has Kannan's Eriyum Kannadi as well. The former has her joining hands with Vishal after Samar. She is teaming up with Nakul in the latter after their much-appreciated combination in Kadhalil Vizhunthen and Maasilamani.

Her last release in Kollywood was Trip in which she acted along with Yogi Babu. Tollywood flick Raja Raja Chora, which was released directly on Zee5, was her previous outing.

Halitha Shameem's anthology Sillu Karupatti (streaming on Netflix) was the last movie of hers which won her rave reviews from critics and the audience alike.
