South Indian actress Suhasini Hasan praised a recent Malayalam film, Qalb, on social media. The film features debutants Ranjith Sajeev and Neha Nazneen in the main roles. After seeing the movie with her family and friends at a special screening in Chennai, she shared a picture on Instagram.
“I saw this refreshing Malayalam movie, Qalb, with my friends and family in Chennai. A welcome change from the dark stories,” she wrote. Ranjith Sajeev was also praised by her for his role in this romantic drama. He is the son of Suhasini’s friends, Sanjeev and Anne. Despite being new to the industry, she continued, the actor has a clear understanding of what happens in front and behind the camera.

Siddique, Lena, and Jaffar Idukki played prominent roles in this film. Karthik Sankar, Shemeer, Jassim Hasim, Abu Salim, Sanoop Kumar, Vishnu Azhikkal (Kadal Machan), Sreedhanya, Manohari Joy, Ambi, Athira Patel, Sarasa Balussery, and Surjith are among the supporting cast of the film. Qalb had a theatrical release on January 11.
The film's lead couple's chemistry was highly praised by the audience. However, it failed to create an impression at the box office or draw a large crowd to theatres.
At Dolphin Beach in Alappuzha, a young man and his father own a cafe. He believes that finding a wife who is a foreigner will enable him to travel to a distant country. The main plot of the film revolves around how a girl enters his life unexpectedly and permanently alters his priorities.
Vijay Babu has produced Qalb under the banner of Friday Film House in association with Fragrant Nature Creations. Sajid Yahiya and Suhail M Koya have penned the screenplay for the movie.
Sharon Sreenivas has helmed the camera work for the film, and Amal Manoj is the editor. Prakash Alex, Vimal Nasser, and Nihal Sadiq have composed the soundtracks for Qalb. Suhail M Koya is the lyricist.
