Suhas starrer Family Drama to release on SonyLIV on October 29

Comedian-turned-lead actor Suhas, who proved himself as a bankable performer with Colour Photo, Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya, Dear Comrade and Majili, scared the daylights out of everyone as a menacing goon in the trailer of his next, titled Family Drama, a few months ago. The film scripted and directed by Meher Tej has now taken the direct-to-OTT route and will stream directly on SonyLIV on October 29. Meher Tej and Shanmukha Prashant have jointly worked on the story and the screenplay. Chashma Films and Noothana Bharathi Films have bankrolled the project.

The story revolves around how Suhas helps a boy and a girl come together in unusual circumstances. While the boy is irked listening to his father's insults one after the other and leaves his house, the girl has her own set of reasons to come out of her place as well. The film will be an edge-of-the-seat experience and boast of good technical standards, performances, assure makers. Suhas' catchy one-liners in the trailer like, 'Eetharaani vaadu samudranni tittukunte entha asahyamga untundo..Vinadam raanivaadu sangeetham gurinchi matlaadina anthe asahyamga untundi' instantly win your attention.

Ram Veerapaneni of Mango Mass Media is presenting the film that has music by Ajay and Sanjay. Venkat R Shakamuri has worked as the cinematographer while Ramakrishna Arram has edited the film. Teja Kasarapu, Pooja Kiran, Anusha Nuthula, Shruti Meher and Sanjay Ratha essay crucial roles in Family Drama. It's a highly sensible choice that such a niche-yet-exciting film has opted to release on OTT, where the makers are likely to reach out to their target audience. Another Suhas starrer, Heads and Tales, is also releasing on ZEE5 this weekend.
