Sudiptaa Banerjee: CM will be invited to my wedding

Actress Sudiptaa Banerjee of the fame Sohag Jal is getting married in Boisakh – the first month of the Bengali calendar. She will marry a TMC leader on May 1. In an interview with Ei Samay, the actress talked about the preparations and anticipations before the big day.

Sudiptaa said, “I bought a Benarasi saree for my marriage. Now things are being purchased for the tatwa. Many of my things are yet to be bought. I am busy due to Sohag Jal. I hope to take a leave after April 20 or 21.”

She will tie the knot with TMC leader Soumya Bakshi. Sudiptaa revealed that she will wear a red Benarasi saree on the wedding day. A place has been booked near Science City. The actress said, “We will marry according to Bengali tradition. Both the families will be present to bless us.”

What are her plans for the wedding and reception? Will it be a destination wedding or a royal wedding? Sidiptaa said, “We are marrying in Bollywood style. A "grand ceremony will be held in the presence of our friends and relatives. On the reception day, I will wear a pastel-colored lehenga. Let the rest be a secret.”

Will the CM come to the wedding? Sudiptaa said, “She will be invited. Whether she can come will be known on that day.”

The actress also said, “I feel tense. I was excited a few days back, but now I feel scared. Many works are due. Tatwa, shopping. I will do a treatment on my face, which is also due. I wake up at midnight due to fright.”
