Excitement is building around the release of filmmaker Yogaraj Bhat’s next, Padavi Poorva. The master director dons the producer’s hat for this film, while Hariprasad Jayanna is the director. Earlier today, superstar Kiccha Sudeepa launched the first video song, Yaake Sikke, from the film which is the launch vehicle of Pruthvi Shamanur and Anjali Anish.
As the film is based on teenage love, it is only apt that the first video song is a romantic number. It is picturised on the lead pair, Pruthvi and Anjali. The song has been composed by Arjun Janya and sung by Nihal Tauro of Indian Idol fame.
While launching the video song, Sudeep wished the team of the film, his ‘favourite director’ Yogaraj, as well as the lead couple all the best.
Before this, a friendship song, crooned by Vijay Prakash, managed to strike the right chord with audiences.
The team of the film is going all out to ensure that Padavi Poorva attracts enough eyeballs, by bringing in star power. The teaser of the film was launched earlier by Jaggesh.
Padavi Poorva also has Yasha Shivakumar in a pivotal role. She was last seen in Bairagee and Monsoon Raaga. The ensemble cast consists of Aditi Prabhudeva, Divya Uruduga and Shri.
Ravi Shamanur has produced the film along with Yogaraj, while Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer and Madhu Thumbakere the editor.
