Ever since Rishab Shetty's Kantara released, it has been garnering appreciation from several quarters, movie lovers, celebrities and critics. The shows for the movie have been witnessing a spike in several cities in India. Cinephiles from other states are also going gaga over the Kannada super hit film.
The makers are releasing the trailer of the movie's Hindi version tomorrow, after which it is expected to draw more audiences to theatres. Kichcha Sudeep is the latest celebrity to have been smitten by the Kantara craze, and the Vikrant Rona star took to his Twitter page to write a detailed note on the project.
He said that this is one of the few films in recent times which left him speechless. Sudeep was all praise for the "exceptionally well written and fantastically conceived film which has a simple plot". He also wondered if the plot which was on the paper was even half as close to how it was conceived on screen.
The manner in which the vision of the director was brought on screen, according to him, deserves a standing applause. Sudeep also showered praise on the movie's music director Ajaneesh Loknath and described him as a "master".
He concluded his note by saying that when he sat to watch the film, he was eager to know if the response he has been gathering about the movie is true. But he was glad to find that the movie exceeded his expectations.
Kantara stars Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty and Sapthami Gowda in notable characters. Arvind S Kashyap's cinematography is one of the prime elements in the film which has been raved about. The movie, which was released on September 30, has been bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
