Subhashree Ganguly is all set to make a comeback on the big screen after her second pregnancy with Yaalini. According to sources, it is a Raj Chakrabarty directorial in which the actress will pair up with Abir Chatterjee. The project is based on Buddhadeb Guha’s love story, Babli. If all goes well, the project will go on the floors between the end of January and the beginning of February. Indraadip Das Gupta is composing the music for the project.

It is yet to be known if the project is a feature film or a web series. The shooting may take place in the forest area of the Northeast. This will be Subhashree’s first film after her second child, Yaalini. Throughout her pregnancy, the actress kept herself busy. She shot for Dance Bangla Dance – a reality show in which she appears as a judge. She also stated that upon consultation with doctors, a pregnant woman might get into a suitable workout regime.

Meanwhile, Abir’s Puja release Raktabeej was a box-office success. Directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, the actor was seen as a high-profile cop who is responsible for safeguarding the President from a planned terror attack. His last film Kabuliwala is running in theatres.

On the other hand, Raj Chakraborty’s OTT debut as a director Abar Proloy was a smashing hit on Zee5. While the director is gearing up for another project with Mithun Chakraborty in the lead, he will work on this love story by Buddhadeb Guha. However, there has been no announcement from the makers yet.
