Shraddha Kapoor praises Alia Bhatt as she reviews the teaser trailer of Jigra on social media!
Today, on September 8, the makers of Jigra unveiled the highly-anticipated teaser trailer of the film. The film, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina is about sibling bond and showcases how far a sister can go to save her younger brother. The teaser trailer promises an intriguing storyline with an action-packed drama. As the film is already garnering a lot of attention for its gripping plot, Shraddha Kapoor also shared her views on the same.
Alia Bhatt shared the teaser trailer on her social media account today. Taking to her Instagram stories, Shraddha Kapoor shared the teaser of Jigra and wrote: "Ye toh theater me bhai ke sath dekhna hai, Kya kamal ladki hai @aliabhatt, kya amazing trailer hai". To which Alia reacted and wrote, "Hahaha thank you my blockbuster Stree".

As shown in the teaser trailer, the narrative of Jigra revolves around Alia's character, who plays a sister to Vedan Raina. She is seen describing her life saying that it's just his brother who is her family now and she can go to any extent to save him. Vedang, on the other hand, is imprisoned in a foreign prison. The gripping story of the film is about sibling bonds, drama, action, and courage.
Jigra is directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. Written by Debashish Irengbam and Bala, it is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik. The horror comedy has been doing exceptionally well at the box office and has crossed ₹516 crore at the Indian box office. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in important parts.
