While the estimates had indeed predicted a strong performance, no one expected the movie to dominate other releases and bring a massive influx of footfalls to theaters. The film's worldwide gross collection has easily crossed the Rs 400 crore mark, which is remarkable considering a story like this making such an impact is a groundbreaking achievement in cinema. On Day 9, which was a Friday, Stree 2 saw packed shows, especially in the late evening and night. According to early estimates, the movie brought in Rs 16.50 crore, which is similar to its Thursday collection of Rs 16.8 crore. The total net domestic collection now stands at Rs 308.15 crore, making it the first Rs 300 crore film in the filmography of both Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
