Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: One has to be living under a rock if they are unaware of the havoc Stree 2 has managed to unleash at the box office. The movie, which released on August 15 with the privilege of a long weekend and an extra day of paid previews, is in no mood to stop breaking records. However, the second day did come with a bit of a drop for the film, but that doesn't determine what the future holds because the movie is now entering the proper weekend. The Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer is a follow-up to the 2018 film, which was also a box office success, and now the sequel is walking a highly elevated path. The movie has managed to cross the ₹100 crore mark on day two itself, and this is indeed a massive feat for the makers, the franchise, and the actors.

Stree 2 released on August 15, 2024. The movie was one of the most anticipated films for the past couple of years, and now that it is on the big screen, fans are having a great time. The movie clashed with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham and Sharva's Vedaa. However, neither of the other movies could land close to the Rajkummar Rao starrer and are now far behind. The competition for Stree 2 is primarily itself as it continues breaking records.

As per Sacnilk, Stree 2 which earned a total of ₹76.5 crore gross on day one (including the ₹8.5 crore that came from the paid previews on Wednesday night), has crossed the ₹100 crore milestone on day two. The film has earned a total of ₹100.1 crore net and Rs 118 gross at the Indian box office. However, this is also a significant drop from day one, considering the movie opened with a big feat. Statistically, it saw a 42.08% drop in collections.

But what should also be considered is the fact that the movie released on August 15, which was Independence Day, a bank holiday. The number of footfalls was destined to be much higher. Day two was a Friday and a working day, which led to the drop in collections. It will be interesting to see how the movie performs as it moves toward a proper first weekend. The film is bound to break more records, and we are waiting.

Stree 2 is, of course, making buzz for all the right reasons. The top reason is obviously the box office collection, which speaks volumes about the power of the franchise.
