Stree 2 has enjoyed a stellar 13 days at the box office. The horror-comedy has managed to surpass the ₹10 crore mark on its 13th day. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Stree 2 collected ₹11.50 crore net in India on day 13. This brings the film's total net collection to ₹414.55 crore in India—a staggering number. The movie is now fast approaching the ₹500 crore mark domestically.

Stree 2 Earns 12 Times Its Budget

The success of Stree 2 is remarkable. Reports indicate that the film's budget was around ₹50 crore. With the gross worldwide collection standing at a staggering ₹589 crore, and the additional ₹11.50 crore from day 13’s domestic collection (with the worldwide numbers yet to be revealed), the overall number has now reached ₹600.50 crore (and will likely increase once the worldwide figures are added). This means Stree 2 has already earned 12 times its budget, making it one of the most profitable films of the year.

For context, Stree 2 opened in theaters worldwide on August 15, which coincided with India's Independence Day. The film also had paid previews on the night of August 14, which brought in an additional ₹8.5 crore, giving it an edge over other releases like Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein. The three films, all featuring major stars, clashed at the box office, marking one of the biggest battles in the Hindi cinema market in a long time.
