Stranger Things 5 Wraps Up Filming

The world has been waiting for Stranger Things Season 5 with bated breath because there is so much that this season has to tackle in terms of storylines, creating curiosity about what the makers are cooking. The show, Netflix’s crown jewel, is set to end with the fifth season, and this is the last time we will see the core team reunite on-screen and behind. So there is much that this season has to prove and give to fans who will have invested a decade of their lives by the time Season 5 hits Netflix. Turns out, we now have a massive update from the sets of the show as the makers have confirmed that the filming of Season 5 has wrapped up.

Stranger Things 5 Wraps Up Filming

As per Tudum and a couple of Instagram posts, one from Netflix and another from Ross Duffer of the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things Season 5 has now wrapped up filming and moves towards the final leg, which is post-production. Ross Duffer announced this in a very emotional and lengthy post where he explained what the show means to them. He emphasized how many have literally grown on the show and below is all you need to know.

“We’ve been telling this story for nearly a decade now. Many of our cast members joined us when they were kids, just ten or eleven years old. It wasn’t just a show for them — it was a defining part of their childhood. They’ve grown up before our eyes, becoming more than actors—they’ve become family. But it’s not just the cast we consider family,” wrote the Duffer Brothers in a post where they shared the logo of Stranger Things Season 5 and a couple of stills.

“Our crew — many of whom have been with us from the very beginning — holds a special place in our hearts. Their dedication and passion have been the backbone of this journey. Everyone involved was determined to bring this story to a satisfying conclusion. They poured their hearts and souls into it, and we couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished. We can’t wait to share it with you all next year. Until then — over and out,” Ross added.
