Stranger Things' Duffer Brothers announce the new production company Upside Down Pictures; reveal the new line-up

The new production giant is set to make the Stranger Things spin-off series soon.

Netflix's Stranger Things season 4 got everyone's mind blown with all the new characters including the villain from the upside-down world and the roots behind all of this. Inspired by this fictional place of the show, The Duffer Brothers announced a new production company names Upside Down Pictures.

According to their new deal, with this new production giant, Matt and Ross Duffer will be focusing on developing films and television projects for Netflix.

The OTT giant unveiled the latest news on their official Instagram handle and wrote, "The Duffer Brothers have formed Upside Down Pictures, a new production company through which they will develop film and television projects as part of their overall deal with Netflix. Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the projects that are currently IN DEVELOPMENT (sic)."

Orphan Black, Ozark fame producer Hilary Leavitt will run The Duffer Brothers' new company. The new production giant has also announced a few upcoming projects such as an anime series called Death Note, a series adaptation of Stephen King and Peter Straub‘s The Talisman, a stage play set based on the world and mythology of Stranger Things, Stranger Things spin-off and more.

Talking about their latest step in the entertainment world, The Duffer Brothers said in a recent statement that they bonded with Hillary (Leavitt) while talking over a few films during their first meeting. They also mentioned that she is a rare talent to have on board for Upside Down Pictures.

Hilary also shared her thoughts in a statement and said that the new production company is set to collaborate with other artists on projects across the full spectrum of genres and it is exciting.

Meanwhile, there is not much out about the upcoming Stranger Things spin-off series, however, it's one of thrilling news for the audience. Fans are also excited for season 5 as after the huge cliffhanger in Stranger Things season 4 vol 2, the next instalment is surely on cards.
