The first four episodes of Season 1 of Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett are now available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar. The Mandolorian spinoff focuses specifically on crime lord and bounty hunter Boba Fett. Director Robert Rodriguez recently opened up about helming an episode and his vision for the series.

"I wanted the level of action to live up to the promise of Boba Fett from last season, but I also needed to establish how he’d conduct business in the palace, and how Fennec and he would interact in there," said the filmmaker, whose credits include Sin City, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl and Alita: Battle Angel.

Rodriguez also spoke about Ming-Na Wen, who plays Fennec Shand, the cunning elite mercenary yet a relatively unknown character in the Star Wars universe. He said that he believed it would be fun to have Fennec give Boba Fett guidance and her point of view when in need.

Temuera Morrison plays the titular character in the sci-fi spinoff created by Jon Favreau from characters by George Lucas. The show takes place after the events of Return of Jedi (1983), the same timeline as The Mandalorian.

Joining Morrison in the cast are Matt Berry, David Pasquesi, Jennifer Beals, Stephen Root, Sophie Thatcher among others.

The Book of Boba Fett premiered first on December 29 last year and will have eight episodes, with the last one releasing on February 9.
