There is absolutely nothing in Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 episode 12
Story:
Omega has decided to re-surrender herself to The Empire. What would the repercussions be?
Review:
Episode 12, Juggernaut, of course, has an interesting beginning. Omega has made up her mind to take the big step. And we are back to where it all began. She is back with The Empire and we are back to square one.
Dr. Karr, who has replaced Nala Se, comes as a surprise to Omega. There were hints about her character development the last time around, we’re still stuck in the loop of trying to figure whose side is she on. The episode does not tap into the same either.
Crosshair, Hunter and Wrecker make smaller appearances this time and barely leave a mark. Batcher is still with the group and Phee ends up joining them too, to become one of the best (only) surprises of the episode.
With The Empire coming back in the picture, things get dull and there isn’t a moment where you are excited to know what can happen next. The makers try hard but it is a nil effect.
Verdict:
The Dave Filoni-directed episode is barely there. You have nothing extraordinary to see here and thus, it is better to wait for the next episodes to be out, to watch the series as a whole.
