Makers of Kavin-starrer Star has just dropped a new single and it's a soul-stirring ghazal that you shouldn't miss!
The new single from Kavin's upcoming film Star, titled Jimikky’s Ghazal, has been released by the makers of the film. The song composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is a soul-stirring ghazal which has both Hindi and Tamil lyrics. The new song has been crooned by Neha Girish and has lyrics penned by Ra. Niranjan Bharathi & Hafeez Hoshiarpuri.
Releasing the song, the makers wrote in the caption, “Drift away on the waves of #Jimikky's Ghazal - the next single from #STAR out now.”
The song video features lead actress Aaditi Pohankar who was earlier introduced by the makers as Jimikky, standing by the seashore. The ravishing young talent looks ever so charming in a pink salwar and appears to be playing a singer in the film.

Earlier, the makers had unveiled the peppy song Melody from the film. All the tracks released from the film have been earning positive reception from audiences, and the new song Jimikky’s Ghazal is all set to be the new sensation!
Directed by Pyaar Prema Kaadhal-fame director Elan, the upcoming film Star is all set to hit the big screens on May 10. The family drama will walk us through the struggles and rise of a movie star. Earlier, the makers had unveiled a glimpse which gave us a sneak peek into the film. The photo album glimpse took the audience through a series of shots showcasing the leading man's journey from childhood days to adulthood. The short glimpse hints that the film will be a heartwarming story with college romance and family drama as its central themes.
Alongside Kavin, the film will also feature Lal, Preity Mukundhan, Aaditi Pohankar, and Geetha Kailasam in supporting roles. Written and directed by Elan, Star has cinematography handled by Ezhil Arasu K, with editing handled by Pradeep E Ragav.

Meanwhile, it was reported earlier that the Kavin-starrer’s digital rights have been sold to Amazon Prime Video and will be available for streaming on the OTT giant post its theatrical release.
