The project, which has been tentatively titled SSMB29 is touted to be a period action-adventure film. Reportedly, the project is set to start rolling at the beginning of 2025. Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the prep for his role in the SS Rajamouli directorial. The actor is seen in his new look for SSMB29, in the recent viral pictures.

The actor, who has always maintained a clean-shaven look for most of his career, is seen sporting a thick beard and mustache for the first time, in the pictures. However, the best part about the look is Mahesh Babu’s long hairdo. From the new clicks, it is safe to assume that director SS Rajamouli is all set to present the superstar in a never-seen-before avatar, in the film.

However, the cinephiles will have to wait till the official announcement, to know if the grapevine is true. The rumourmills also suggest that the SS Rajamouli directorial might consist of mythological and fantasy elements that connect to Garuda, the big which has been considered the ‘Vahana’ of Lord Vishnu. Mahesh Babu is undergoing physical training and dialect coaching, for the perfection of his role in the film.
