Sshhh trailer OUT: Anthology film is Tamil cinema’s answer to Lust Stories?

Directed by Prithivi Adithya, the film comprises four stories including Kamathupaal and Eni Ellam, aiming to address the importance of sex education and diverse expressions of love and desire.

We had earlier reported that a Tamil version of Lust Stories is in the making. Titled Sshhh, the anthology film, is all set to premiere on Aha on November 29. The film will also be available on OTTplay Premium. The trailer was unveiled by the makers on social media on Thursday, November 28.

Aha’s Sshhh trailer is out

Sshhh is an upcoming Tamil anthology film that will explore the themes of lust, sex, and desire, very similar to what Hindi cinema saw in the form of Lust Stories. The anthology will consist of four stories and will premiere on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium on November 29. Ahead of the release, the trailer of Sshhh was released.

The trailer shows glimpses from various segments, as we see Aishwarya Dutta's character question herself if there is any rule for a woman to not talk about sex. We also see various segments and the characters, who are caught between desire and the taboo lust in society. As the characters give into their desires and pleasure, we see a turmoil of emotions building up in each of the segments.

Sshhh, Tamil cinema’s response to Lust Stories?

Tamil cinema which has found stories in violence and bloodshed, has now turned its eye towards telling lesser addressed stories. Sshh will talk about lust and sex, which are considered taboo by society.

The four segments are titled Kamathupaal, Reload, Vaanmathi, and Eni Ellam. They will range from telling the importance of sex education, to expressing lust and love by individuals from various walks of life. Sshhh is backed by IB Karthikeyanunder Big Print Pictures.

Directed by Prithivi Adithya who earlier helmed Clap, along with Vaali Mohan Das, Harish GY, and IB Karthikeyan, the primary cast members of the anthology series include actors Srikanth, Ineya, Soniya Agarwal, Aishwarya Dutta, Mime Gopi and many other new faces.
