Sshhh OTT release date: The four chapters explore themes such as sex education, lost love, waiting for a missing spouse, and temptation.

Sshhh is an upcoming Tamil anthology series which is all set to premiere on Aha Tamil this weekend. The series will release on November 29, the platform announced recently on social media. The title will also be made available on the OTTplay Premium app as well.

Sshhh is Sshhh is directed by Prithivi Adithya who earlier helmed Clap, along with Vaali Mohan Das, Harish GY and IB Karthikeyan. The anthology series will consist of four stories revolving around the themes of love, choices, and personal struggles. “A teacher grapples with sex education, a woman reunites with an ex, a wife waits for her missing husband, and a young man faces temptation while preparing for his future. Each story explores the impact of difficult decisions,” reads the plot of the series.

Sshhh will consist of a cast including Srikanth, Ineya, Soniya Agarwal, Aishwarya Dutta, Mime Gopi and many other new faces.

Sshhh chapters and plot

The anthology series will consist of four chapters. The first is titled Kamathupaal and will talk about the importance of sex education in schools. It revolves around Tarangani, a young science teacher from an orthodox and privileged caste family, who is struggling to teach sex education to eighth graders. As she grapples with fear and anxiety, and even decides to quit, the segment will explore Tarangani’s psyche and whether she will overcome her fear to teach her students.

The second chapter is titled Reload. It revolves around a 35-year-old Arjun who meets his former girlfriend Meera after six years. As they talk about the past, Meera opens up about the struggle for physical intimacy in her marriage, and the unhappiness it is causing even though she loves her husband. At the same time, Arjun too opens up about being bored and unexciting. Drawn together by their shared struggles, they comfort each other and share a passionate kiss in a quiet corner. Feeling emotional, they think about taking things further, with Arjun trying to book a hotel room.

The third chapter is called Vaanmathi named after the 38-year-old woman who is married to military man Selvam. After the latter goes missing in a mission shortly after their wedding, she waits for years in vain. One day she reconnects with an old friend online, leading to a plan their meeting.

The final chapter is Ini Ellam, about a 20-year-old IAS aspirant who develops an attraction towards a distant relative. He gets caught between his ambition and desire, which causes a conflict within himself.
