Srinagara Kitty’s return as leading man in Gowli looks downright menacing

After the first look poster, which featured the actor in a bearded and very rugged avatar, the team has now released a teaser that has Kitty in action mode, taking on the bad guys, looking every bit menacing.

Srinagara Kitty, who has been away from the big screen for a while, makes a comeback with the action thriller Gowli, which is currently in production. Written and directed by debutant Soora, the film has Kitty in a rugged avatar, including long locks and an unruly beard, which we got to see thwn the first look was unveiled earlier. Kitty, as it turns out, is still sporting the look, as the team is yet to finish principal photography, with about 20-25 days work pending.

And yet, this week, they released a teaser of the film, in the presence of their friends from the industry, like Duniya Vijay, Ganesh, Nenapirali Prem, among others, all of who wished the team all the very best. The highlight of the event, though, was the teaser itself, which has Kitty in action mode, wielding an axe to fight a bunch of baddies, presumably to protect his family. The actor is paired with Paavana in the film. At the teaser launch, Kitty said that seeing himself in that avatar on a big screen literally sent shivers down his spine and that he was immensely proud of what the team has put together so far.

Kitty showered praise on cinematographer Sandeep Valluri, whose work was widely appreciated. In jest, he added that Sandeep’s painstakingly slow work ethic is irritating on set, but since the end result is stunning, Kitty said he was in awe of him.
