Srikanth box office collection day 6 - Filmmaker Tushar Hiranandani's movie, Srikanth, was released in cinemas on May 10, 2024. Starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, the film is based on the life of industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who is visually impaired. Despite positive reception, Srikanth got a slow start at the box office. However, the film gained momentum over two days, only to witness a drop later. That said, the film has been able to keep a steady pace since day four at the box office.

As per early estimates by Sacnilk, Srikanth collected around Rs 1.5 crore at the box office. Considering the day six BO figure, the total collection of Rajkummar Rao's film comes close to Rs 17 crore. That said, the movie has the potential to grow at the box office because of positive word-of-mouth.

Coming to the film's star cast, Srikanth also features Jyotika, Sharad Kelkar and Alaya F in the lead roles. The Tushar Hiranandani directorial is a true story of Srikanth Bolla who was rejected at several Indian institutes. However, he later completed his studies at an international university. Bolla founded Bollant Industries at a young age.

Rajkummar Rao on being a part of a biopic

Earlier, in an interview with Firstpost, Rajkummar Rao spoke about being a part of a biopic. The actor admitted it is a huge responsibility when you work in a film that is based on someone's real life. Rao mentioned, "There are people who know him. They will come and judge it and will know how close you are to the character."

He stated that as an actor he's not just portraying someone else's character but also putting it on the big screen for millions of people to watch. The actor stated that Srikanth Bolla being visually impaired made the character tough for him as he had never attempted something like this before.
