The entertainer revolves around clashes between two generations of people
Veteran actor Sreenivasan is all set to get active in the film industry again after recovering from health-related issues. Last week, he had signed a movie with son Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead and now we hear that he is onboard for director Maxwell Jose’s upcoming entertainer titled H, which has younger son Dhyan as one of the male protagonists.
Sreenivasan will be playing a pivotal role in the movie, which has Urvashi and Sreenath Bhasi essaying the other lead characters. The film’s director had earlier told us that the movie, which will go on floors in May, is a family entertainer and revolves around the clash of ideologies between two generations.
Urvashi plays the central character named Sissy in the film, which is set near Sreenivasan’s hometown Kannur. “The movie revolves around her character of a middle-aged woman who tries to prove to the younger generation that age is just a number,” said Maxwell, who had earlier teamed up with Dhyan and Aju Varghese in Khali Purse of Billionaires.
The film marks the reunion between Dhyan and Sreenivasan three years after Kuttymama, which is currently streaming on Jio Cinema. Earlier this week, we had also revealed that Sreenivasan has been roped in to play a crucial role in Vineeth and Shine Tom Chacko’s upcoming film titled Kurukkan, which is directed by debutant Jayalal Divakaran. The movie, also starring Aju Varghese, will go on floors in August this year.
Meanwhile, Sreenivasan will next be seen in Kho Kho director Rahul Riji Nair’s upcoming thriller titled Keedam, which has Rajisha Vijayan and Vijay Babu playing the other central characters. The film, which has Rajisha essaying the role of a cybersecurity expert, is expected to release soon. Sreenivasan plays the role of the father of Rajisha’s character in the film. The veteran actor is also part of Sathyan Anthikad’s Makal, which is set for April 28 release in theatres.
