Sreeleela who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry, was last seen alongside actor Mahesh Babu in Guntur Kaaram. Now, as per the latest buzz, the happening star is all set to make her Tamil film debut. Keep reading to know more about Sreeleela’s project.
Sreeleela to make Tamil debut?
Young and happening actor Sreeleela, who was last seen in Guntur Kaaram, has been speculated to play the female lead opposite actor Sivakarthikeyan.
As per the latest buzz, it is reported that Sivakarthikeyan will be headlining the upcoming film Purananooru. It is to be noted that th e project was initially announced with actor Suriya, with Sudha Kongara at the helm. However, citing various issues, Suriya had to back out of the project. Now, it is said that the filmmaker will be mounting the project with Sivakarthikeyan, with Sreeleela playing the female lead. However, an official announcement on the project's latest updates is yet to be made.
Purananooru was initially announced with Suriya, Nazriya Nazim, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Varma. Dubbed as Suriya 43, the actor had reportedly left Purnanooru due to ‘creative differences’, but he had revealed in an interview that he parted from the project amicably, so there was no bitterness between the actor and Kongara. Now, one has to wait and watch if Sudha Kongara will mount the project once again with young stars.
Sreeleela’s line-up
Sreeleela was recently seen in Guntur Kaaram alongside Mahesh Babu. The actor also has a line-up of Telugu projects in the pipeline. She has Robinhood with actor Nithiin, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh with actor and politician Pawan Kalyan. The young actor is also set to pair up with Ravi Teja for a yet-to-be titled film.
Sreeleela, who has worked in Telugu and Kannada films, has not done a Tamil film before. If she is indeed cast opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Purananooru, it will mark her debut.
