One has to be actually living in a cave if the Squid Game frenzy has not touched them yet. Even if it has not lured you into watching the show, it has still managed to reach you, and that says a lot about its hold over the audience. Over the past many weeks, we have only seen discussions about Season 2 and what comes in the third, and fans have been going crazy over the theories that have given them sleepless nights. Some say Oh Il-nam is Front Man’s father, some say this is happening on a ship, and there are even wilder ones. So now, as Gi-hun fame Lee Jung-jae, Front Man fame Lee Byung-hun, and creator Hwang Dong-hyuk sat down to bust some theories, we are here to witness it.

Squid Game 3 Theories Addressed By Cast Members

In case you are confused Squid Game stars Gi-hun fame Lee Jung-jae, Front Man fame Lee Byung-hun, and creator Hwang Dong-hyuk sat down to play First We Feast's Hot Ones Versus. The task there was to answer if the theory is true or not or else eat a spicy wing. While Byung-hun took the challenge, Jung-jae became the orator, and the former ended up giving a haywire but cryptic response to the three viral theories asked.

Jung-jae, reading the question on the show, said, “Squid Game Season 2 ends with a cliffhanger, and fans are already speculating about the next season. Tell me which of the following fan theories are true: The island is a ship, Gi-hun is the son of Oh Il-nam, Front Man is an undercover cop.” To which Byung-hun replied, “Honestly, none were correct.” So when Jung-jae told him to eat, Byung-hun exclaimed, “Wait, that’s not how this works?”

Hwang Dong-hyuk had to mediate and tell Byung-hun that he has to eat as he refused to answer the question. Byung-hun, reacting to this, said, “So that means that I have to spoil the ending to Season 3 right here? I mean, if that’s what you want… I’ll choose to do that instead.” Jung-jae added, “If it were me, I’d just eat a spicy wing and get it over with. You might take another look at your contract?”
