Nikhil Siddhartha gave a solid hit with the film Karthikeya 2 which gave him a wide recognition India wide. Now, he is ready with an out and out action drama titled SPY. The film is all set to release on the 29th of June, 2023 and the promotions have already started and Nikhil is going all out to take the film deep into the audience.

Ahead of the film's release, there is a strong buzz in the film circles that none other than Rana Daggubati has done a cameo in the film. The makers have kept this as a secret and Rana will make an entry at a crucial time in the film as per the news.

SPY is Nikhil's costliest film to date and has some great action which has been showcased through the trailers. The film is about an unknown and well kept secret of the late freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose and an agent played by Nikhil is called to handle the case. Garry BH had directed this film and Nikhil is super thrilled with the way he has canned the film.

The promos showcase Nikhil in an action packed avatar for the first time in his career and the Karthikeya star looks stunning. Iswarya Menon is playing the female lead in this film which also marks the comeback of the actor Aryan Rajesh to Telugu films.

Produced by K Raja Shekhar Reddy on Ed Entrainments, the special aspect is that K Raja himself has penned the story for this action drama. Sricharan Pakala composed the music. Earlier, there was news that the film has been postponed due to lack of time for promotions but the action drama is on track for the 29th June, 2023 release.
