In his latest film, director Shaad Ali takes on a question that has piqued humanity's collective imagination since the dawn of time: What if a man got pregnant? (Okay, in truth, a passing thought for a stray individual or two. Or four. That's all we're willing to concede.) Working off a script by Ananya Sharma, Ali directs Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza in Mister Mummy a tale ostensibly about a couple with opposing views on having offspring. She wants them, he doesn't. She ends up pregnant, he does too. However, he doesn't just gain a baby bump: he also earns a deep and hitherto-exclusive-to-women insight into just how hard procreation is on women. You don't say!
