Spider-Man: No Way Home, which will see Tom Holland as Spider-Man will have Jamie Foxx return as Electro
Spider-Man: No Way Home directed by Jon Watts, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and is closing in on its release. The movie will also see the return of some of the most iconic villains from Spider-Man movies of the past.
Jamie Foxx’s Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is one of the villains Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will have to face in the upcoming movie. In a quote shared by Sony, Tom Holland has said that Foxx will have one of the funniest scenes in the MCU.
“Jamie Foxx has one of the funniest scenes in any Marvel movie in this film. And it is essentially taking the piss out of all superhero films and I love it. It’s excellent,” says Holland.
Like the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse the upcoming MCU movie will see the use of the multiverse storyline come into play. This opens the scope for countless opportunities for the makers of the movie.
Foxx’s Electro was not received with open hands with the entire section of the fans when The Amazing Spider-Man was released, but he will now get another shot to impress the fans.
The movie that will also see the return of Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock as well as Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, is set to release in theatres globally on December 16.
