The upcoming MCU film is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jacob Batalon
In one of the biggest news for Marvel fans in India, the release date for Spider-Man: No Way Home in Indian theatres has been pushed forward by a day. The film will now hit theatres on December 16, a day before its theatrical release in the United States.
The news was first broken by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his official social media handle. The news was accompanied by a poster of the upcoming MCU film, which features Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, played by Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch respectively. In the backdrop viewers can catch a glimpse of the robotic tentacles of Doctor Octopus glowering.

The upcoming MCU film is a sequel to 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. The new film follows Peter Parker as he struggles with his superhero identity being made public and requests Doctor Strange for a spell to solve his problems. But the spell goes horribly wrong and Parker has to deal with the consequences of the same.
In addition to Holland and Cumberbatch, the film also features Zendaya, Jacob Batalon,Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church and Jon Favreau, among others.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts, who had also directed the first two films in the Holland-led franchise.
