Spider-Man 5 Storyline Is Already Fixed?

The anticipation for updates on Spider-Man 4 is at an all-time high, with fans eagerly waiting for concrete news about the film. Rumored to be another Multiverse-centric story, the film is set between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, promising major developments. While the studio continues to work on Spider-Man 4, the latest rumor suggests that the storyline for Spider-Man 5 is already in place—and it’s reportedly what Spider-Man 4 was initially intended to be.

Spider-Man 5 Storyline Is Set?

Confused? Here’s a refresher: earlier rumors suggested that Marvel Studios wanted to make a street-level Spider-Man film for the fourth installment of Tom Holland’s standalone series. According to new reports, this street-level story will now be the focus of Spider-Man 5.

As per an update from Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, Spider-Man will team up with Daredevil (played by Charlie Cox) to face off against New York's mayor, Wilson Fisk—better known as the Kingpin. The storyline involves Fisk using his position to target Spider-Man as part of his broader goal to eliminate all vigilantes in New York City, thus solidifying his underground criminal empire. Alex Perez explains, "Spider-Man and Daredevil's relationship ties into Kingpin, who will be hunting down Spider-Man. As Mayor, his main goal is to eliminate all vigilantes in NYC as a way to elevate his underground side business. It plays out in Born Again but continues on after Secret Wars. This is part of a larger story for the MCU."

Daredevil: Born Again To Feature a Tom Holland Cameo?

According to Cosmic Circus, Marvel is considering a cameo by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in Daredevil: Born Again. Including the web-slinger could make the show more exciting, though it seems challenging, as reshoots for the series have already wrapped up. However, with four months left before its release, it’s possible Marvel could take that leap.

Previously, My Time To Shine Hello reported that Wilson Fisk, after being elected Mayor of New York, gives a speech urging citizens to move past their reliance on heroes like “a spider, a devil, or a psycho vigilante with a skull symbol”. While this was expected to be Spider-Man’s only reference in the show, the new rumor suggests otherwise.
