Spider-Man 4 To Begin Filming In May 2025?

The rumor mill surrounding the selection of a director for Spider-Man 4 has reached a conclusion, with Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings reportedly hired to direct the next Tom Holland starrer. We've heard that the script has gone through some changes, and now Knull will be the new villain, with Peter Parker and Venom teaming up to defeat him. A recent rumor from My Time To Shine Hello claims that the movie will begin filming in mid-2025. Read on for more details.

According to the scooper, Marvel is planning to start filming Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland, Zendaya, and the rest of the cast in May 2025, assuming everything falls into place. The studio is also casting two new actors, one female and one male. As per the scooper, "Spider-Man 4 begins filming in the UK at the end of May 2025, and they're casting a new female lead as well as a new male lead to serve as a foil for Peter."

If the rumors are pointing in the right direction, the new female actor could be cast to play Black Cat, who has been previously rumored to appear in the film. The male actor, described as a "foil for Peter," is likely a villain, and it could be Harry Osborn, who has been rumored to make his MCU debut soon.

Tom Holland To Play Spider-Man In 6 More Projects

According to My Time To Shine Hello, Marvel and Sony have reached a very impressive deal. The studios have agreed to work on another Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland, leading Spider-Man 4, 5 and 6. This means Holland will star in a second standalone trilogy, making history. Additionally, he will appear in three more MCU projects. It's not yet clear which ones, but recent rumors suggest that he will appear in Avengers: Doomsday and will have a more significant role than in the last two Avengers films.

@MyTimeToShineH revealed, "There's a new Marvel-Sony deal that will have Tom Holland reprising his role as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in three more solo films (Spider-Man 4-6) and three additional MCU films (including Secret Wars and two others). The previous deal only covered No Way Home and Avengers. And part of the deal was for him to have a huge role to play in the Avengers films."
