Rukshar Dhillon too plays a key role in the film written by Vikranth himself
Watching a glimpse of a film sans expectations will always leave you a wider scope to be surprised. Spark, newcomer Vikranth’s launch vehicle, could just be the surprise you may be looking for. Vikranth Reddy has also written the story and screenplay for the film produced by Leela Reddy under Deaf Frog Productions. The action thriller also stars Mehreen Pirzada, Rukshar Dhillon in key roles.
The teaser of the film was launched amidst the cast, crew and the media in Hyderabad today. The glimpse starts with a group of men lying dead on the floor and there’s fire, blood all around, making way for the introduction sequence of Vikranth, who’s seen holding a gun. There’s high-voltage action, romance backed by a pulsating background score and slick editing.
The film is set to release in multiple languages in the coming weeks in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Guru Somasundaram, Nasser, Vennela Kishore, Suhasini Maniratnam, Satya, Brahmaji, Srikanth Ayyangar, Annapurnamma, Raja Ravindra form the supporting cast of the entertainer which has music by Hridayam, Kushi fame composer Hesham Abdul Wahab.
The glimpse suggests that the film has been shot on a lavish scale amidst scenic locations. Umarji Anuradha, Vikranth Reddy, Mahesh, Thottempudi Swamy have written the dialogues for the thriller whose crew comprises cinematographer AR Ashok Kumar, action director Jaguar Krishnan, art director S Ram Prasad, editor Prawin Pudi and choreographer Moin.
In the teaser, the director Aravind Kumar Ravivarma hasn’t been credited for his contribution. Meanwhile, the release date of Spark will be announced shortly. Mehreen’s last Telugu release was F3: Fun and Frustration, the comic entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi, also starring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and others. Rukshar was last seen in Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam.
