Sonam Kapoor's Blind: Check OUT cast, crew, trailer, release date and other details of the upcoming crime thriller

Five days ago, the official trailer of Blind was dropped on Jio Cinema.

Can you ever imagine a blind detective solving a murder case? This is the core plotline of the upcoming digital film titled Blind. This crime thriller features actress Sonam Kapoor in a lead role who, as a blind detective, is on a mission to solve this case.

About five days ago, Sonam Kapoor shared the trailer of her film on Instagram and captioned: “It's her against the evil that's waiting for her in the darkness. TRAILER OUT NOW! Watch #BlindOnJioCinema, streaming free 7 July onwards. @sonamkapoor @purab_kohli @pathakvinay @lilletedubeyofficial @officialjiostudios @panoramamusic @believemusicindia”

Interestingly, this movie marks Sonam’s return to the world of Bollywood after a gap of four years. She was last seen in the theatrical film titled, The Zoya Factor.

Not only this, but Sonam had also revealed in a 2022 interview to Pinkvilla that she shot for the movie, Blind in 2020. Two years after the shoot, Sonam welcomed her first child Vayu with her husband Anand Ahuja.

Remarkably, this Sonam Kapoor starrer trailer has received over 7.8 million views on YouTube. On YouTube, the trailer is captioned: “This time, the Blind will lead the way. Reacting to the trailer, one YouTube user dropped a comment in the comments section and said, “Sonam Kapoor's acting prowess shines through in this teaser. She is a true talent.”

“This trailer has me hooked from start to finish. It's a perfect blend of mystery, action, and drama. Counting down the days to its release!” wrote another YouTube user.

One more YouTube user commented, “This trailer has set the bar high for crime thrillers. It's refreshing to see such a compelling and well-executed concept. Can't wait to witness the magic unfold on the big screen!”

Blind is an upcoming crime thriller film directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Sachin Nahar, Pinkesh Nahar and Manish W.

Besides Sonam Kapoor, the movie also features actors namely Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in crucial roles. It is believed that this upcoming movie is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name and centres around a blind police officer in search of a serial killer. The film will now premiere on July 7, 2023, on Jio Cinema.
