Recently, Sonam Kapoor confirmed that she is set to film her first project after giving birth to her son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja and expressed her excitement for the same.

Sonam Kapoor embraced motherhood for the first time in 2022 as she welcomed her son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja with her husband Anand Ahuja. Since then, the actress has not shoot any project. Recently, Sonam confirmed that she is excited to begin shooting for the first project post pregnancy early next year.

Sonam Kapoor to begin shoot first time post pregnancy

In a statement, Sonam Kapoor shared that she is 'super excited' to face the camera again post her pregnancy. "I love being an actor and I love living so many interesting characters through my profession. Human beings fascinate me and I love playing varied roles. I'm looking forward to my next," she said.

She further added that she will return to the sets early next year (2025). However, the details of this project are currently getting locked so the actress could not able to talk at length till the announcement is made. "It's a big project. That's all I can say right now," she stated.

Sonam Kapoor celebrates son Vayu's 2nd birthday

On August 20, Sonam Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of her son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The video captured the birthday boy running adorably wearing a white shirt and beige pants.

Sharing the video, Sonam wrote, "My baby turns two today!!! Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet, precious Vayu! Being your mom is the greatest gift I could ever receive. You’ve filled our lives with so much joy, laughter, and wonder."
