The Bollywood actress, who gave birth to a baby boy on August 20, has been receiving congratulatory messages from her peers on social media.

Evcer since the news of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja becoming proud parents to a healthy baby boy was revealed to the world, industry friends and family of the power couple have been puring wishes on social media.

While Neetu Kapoor and Farah Khan were the first ones to reveal the news on social media and wish grandparents Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor on Instagram, friends of the Neerja actress have been commenting on her now-viral annoucement Reel on Instagram.

Actress Kriti Sanon wrote, "Congrats!!!! ❤️❤️🤗😘," while Jacqueline Fernandez said, "❤️❤️❤️" under the post. Dia Mirza, too, expressed her joy over the arrival of the baby, by writing, "Congratulations and all our love and blessings to the little one ❤️🐯," and Sonam's Aisha co-star Lisa Haydon commented with a simple "Congrats mama ❤️❤️❤️".

Noted content creators such as Dolly Singh commented on the post, and sayani Gupta left her best wishes in the comments section too.

According to an initial annoucement artwork shared by the family to their loved ones, which again, was reshared by Sunita Kapoor, the couple has been blessed with a baby boy.

The artwork, which was shared by Neetu Kapoor and Farah Khan, reads as: 'On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It's only the beginning, but we know our lives are forever changed. Sonam & Anand."

Sonam and Anand, too, have shared the exact picture on their social media pages.

Sonam Kapoor, who now goes by Sonam K Ahuja, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Anand S Ahuja on May 8 of 2018. They dated for several years before getting married and are vocal about their love for each other. On Instagram, their coupole hashtag is #everydayphenomenal.
