David Beckham is in India to fulfil his commitment as an ambassador of the UNICEF.

Legendary footballer David Beckham arrived in Mumbai on November 14. As a UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) Goodwill Ambassador, the former Manchester United footballer is currently in Mumbai on a three-day India tour. The International Cricket Council and UNICEF have joined forces to empower women and girls and promote gender equality through the game of cricket.
Beckham is anticipated to be among the VVIP attendees of the significant semi-final match between India and New Zealand at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium as part of this. And he is being hosted in Mumbai by actress Sonam Kapoor and her businessman husband, Anand Ahuja.

"David Beckham is in India for his UNICEF commitment as a Global Ambassador and he will be meeting Sonam and Anand during his trip to Mumbai," an anonymous source was quoted as telling Bollywood Hungama. The source further revealed that the power couple has also invited the most prominent figures in the city to a dinner at their home.
The dinner event will be intimate, with only 25 people in attendance. "Sonam and Anand are big entrepreneurs, with Anand being at the top with a business empire. Sonam is Bollywood royalty and a global fashion icon,” added the source.

Sonam was last seen in the murder thriller Blind. The film is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name and centres around a blind police officer in search of a serial killer. It was directed by Shome Makhija.
